What does a session look like?

I like to begin each session with a fresh perspective on how you are, right now.  Initial sessions usually involve a 10-20 min. consultation / intake on your health history, life resources and intentions around your healing and growth.

During a craniosacral session, you will rest on a massage table, fully clothed.  If incorporating massage you may wear less for the massage work but will remain covered by a sheet and/or blanket.

I take care to ensure you are comfortable and safe throughout the experience.  Feedback is always welcome during or after sessions.  Sessions are typically one hour including a brief check-in, but may vary, and may be tailored as needed.

Most people report feeling deeply relaxed after craniosacral therapy sessions.  However, a wide variety of experience is possible as it is often a process of physical and/or emotional release.  You may feel more expansive, tender, excited, or settled.   Sometimes if the body has shifted a lot you may even feel quite tired or achy.   This therapy is known for its gentle, yet profound approach to resolving trauma and pain.

After a session, you may wish to reserve some time in your day for rest and reflection, as your body will continue to process your experience.  Many people want to sleep a lot the following evening, although bursts of energy are also reported.

Rates

Hour sessions are $100.  Packages rates are available and sponsorships may be available as needed - please talk to me about any considerations you may have.  It is very important to me that healing be as accessible as possible to all bodies.  I have found over time that people who value their healing get a lot out it - and there are many ways to value healing!
